The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Service Innovation Manager – Strategic projects, this pivotal role is comprised of two main areas of responsibility.

The first area is to develop, as well as enhance existing job lists for Komatsu machinery that is supplied to RTIO sites across Australia. The job list will accurately depict service cost, part numbers, cost, and delivery times in addition to work/charge rates quoted.

 The second area will be heavily involved as part of the team in researching, creating, and implementing key strategic initiatives that deliver business improvements throughout our service departments. The successful candidate could work out of any of our regional office headquarters with occasional travel required to our Fairfield / NSW offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating, maintaining, and enhancing job lists for Komatsu machinery.
  • Review RTIO delivery schedule monthly to comply with contractual requirements with RTIO S&T to supply job list data in compliance with RTIO Contracted timeframes.
  • Work with stakeholders and customers to analyse gaps and look for areas of process improvement
  • Partnering with Senior Leadership team to look for ways to improve Service offerings.

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a Service Supervisor, Service Manager, Estimator, or similar position
  • Previous industry experience in the mining / construction or heavy equipment industry. 
  • Past experience with building and maintaining parts and labour quotes/plans for repair/rebuild work – Job Lists
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft office suite including Excel (Formula’s, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s etc)
  • Have clear and concise communication skills both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage workload efficiently with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • A trade qualified background is advantageous.
