The Opportunity:

Are you a skilled and motivated Diesel Fitter looking for an exciting opportunity in the mining industry? Komatsu are seeking an extraordinary Field Service Technician to join our team at Emerald working across various sites. You will be responsible for a wide range of Komatsu equipment ranging from small contractor machines through to Heavy Earth Moving Equipment.

Roster: 7 & 7 day and night shift

Role Located: Various Sites

 What we are looking for:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing heavy diesel equipment, preferably Komatsu experience (desired).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent understanding of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
• Commitment to safety protocols and regulations.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work on a 7 & 7 roster, including day and night shifts.
• High level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
• Actively participate in training and skill development programs to stay current with industry best practices.
