The Opportunity:

  • An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trade Assistant to join the Service Department at our Kalgoorlie branch. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the role will include assisting the Tradespersons, yard work and general housekeeping of the Service Department and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Workshop and Yard work duties, parts handling and staging
  • Assisting Tradespersons in the service area
  • Checking equipment and compliance
  • General housekeeping duties in the Service department

The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:

  • Current Driver’s Licence.
  • Hold/able to obtain relevant Forklift license.
  • Additional licences and tickets relevant to the role would be advantageous.
  • Experience in oxy cutting, mig welding and sub arc process – desirable.
  • Able to demonstrate a basic level of computer literacy, troubleshooting skills, safe manual handling techniques, as well as risk assessment process and hazard identification.
  • Ability to communicate and work with internal departments seamlessly on a daily basis whilst demonstrating an understanding of our customer’s requirements.
