The Opportunity:

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to hit the ground running, maintaining existing customer sales and actively developing new business in the Greater Manawatu and Hawkes Bay region through solution selling. This role requires a broad range of skills, including negotiation, project management, strategic planning, market analysis, and conducting presentations.

The ability to work with clients to build long-term partner relations, coupled with tenacity, lateral thinking ability, a strong technical orientation, and the ability to develop and adhere to a call plan are required attributes.

The successful candidate can be situated within Hawkes Bay, Palmerston North, Levin or Taupo.

What we are looking for:

  • Background in Construction & Utility Equipment Industry sales or rental
  • Demonstrated product knowledge including mechanical and technical data
  • Strong sales skills, with an ability to develop and maintain a proactive call plan
  • Well organised and results orientated
  • Customer centric with well-developed communication skill both written and verbal
  • Good analytical and conceptual skills.
  • Ability to implement corporate policy
  • Confident presentor
  • Highly developed team collaboration skills
