The Opportunity:

As the Spare Parts Supervisor, you will oversee the inventory, distribution, and procurement of spare parts to ensure our operations run smoothly. You will lead a team, manage supplier relationships, and optimize processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the spare parts department, ensuring optimal inventory levels and accurate record-keeping.
  • Lead and mentor a team of spare parts staff, providing training and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement inventory management strategies to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Collaborate with other departments to assess spare parts needs and ensure timely availability.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and oversee procurement activities.
  • Monitor and analyze spare parts usage and trends to forecast future requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all operations.

Roster: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Location: Brisbane, QLD

What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within a spare parts or inventory management environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory management software.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
