We're seeking hands-on and motivated team members to join our Frozen Shell team at Koko Black's Creative Centre. You'll play an important role in creating the chocolate shells that form the foundation of many of our premium products, ensuring they are produced safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

1 x Frozen Shell Operator – Afternoon Shift
- 3:00pm – 11:06pm Monday to Friday
1 x Frozen Shell Team Leader – Afternoon Shift
- 3:00pm – 11:06pm Monday to Friday
The Role
Reporting to the Frozen Shell Team Leader, the Frozen Shell Operator will support the production of premium chocolate products by operating equipment, completing quality checks, maintaining food safety standards and contributing to the efficient operation of our manufacturing team.
Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll help ensure products are produced safely, efficiently and in accordance with Koko Black's quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor and troubleshoot production equipment in accordance with procedures
- Produce frozen chocolate shells to quality and production specifications
- Conduct quality and food safety checks throughout the production process
- Follow HACCP, GMP and food safety requirements at all times
- Complete production records and documentation accurately
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to achieve daily production targets
- Support safe work practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Team Leader Opportunity
In addition to the above responsibilities, the Frozen Shell Team Leader will:
- Coordinate daily production activities and workflow within the Frozen Shell area
- Coach, support and develop team members through training and feedback
- Ensure quality and food safety checks are completed and non-conformances are escalated appropriately
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Supply Chain teams to support efficient operations
- Support initiatives that improve safety, quality and operational efficiency
What You'll Bring
- Experience in manufacturing, food production or FMCG environments is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
For the Team Leader position, previous experience leading or coordinating teams within a manufacturing environment will be highly regarded.
