KnG Healthcare’s Extended Care is specifically tailored to accommodate older patients who require healthcare services for an extended period of time. These patients continue to require health care in a clinically supported environment to assist with their complex discharge needs following an acute inpatient stay. Our model creates a restorative and healing environment for patients, prioritising their well-being and continuing their healthcare while simultaneously progressing discharge plans.

Job Description:

As a Medical Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients. Your work will be integral to upholding our commitment to quality care, and your efforts will be appreciated and celebrated by our team. This position will be within a established Care facility run by KnG Healthcare.

About You:

• Previous Aged Care or Hospital cleaning experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of Infection Control Procedures and Hand Hygiene.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to creating a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing cleaning requirements.

You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, hygienic environment for patients. Utilise your attention to detail and infection control knowledge to uphold our commitment to quality care. Prioritise cleanliness and safety in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate positive interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Effective time management and organisational abilities to prioritise tasks.

Essential Documentation/Declarations:

To be considered for this position, you must provide:

• Police Check with no disclosable offences, ensuring suitability for employment.
• Australian Workers Rights documentation, affirming eligibility for employment in Australia.
• Compliance with Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) Certification, prioritising patient and staff safety.
• Minimum of 3-months' work experience in aged care or in a hospital setting.
