About the Role

As a Home Care Support Worker, you will provide practical, social and personal support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity and quality of life.

This is a community-based role where no two days are the same. You will be part of a team that values connection, reliability and making a real difference.

Key Responsibilities

·       Provide personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and toileting

·       Assist with domestic support such as cleaning, laundry and meal preparation

·       Support community access including appointments, shopping and social outings

·       Deliver companionship and emotional support

·       Promote independence, choice and dignity

·       Observe and report changes in client wellbeing

·       Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the care team

About You

·       Passionate about supporting older people to live well at home

·       Reliable, compassionate and respectful

·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·       Flexible and adaptable across different client needs

Essential Requirements

·       Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care, Home & Community or equivalent)

·       Current First Aid and CPR

·       National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

·       NDIS Worker screening

·       Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

·       Smartphone for rostering and communication systems
