Senior Test Analyst (Brisbane Based)Hybrid

KJR is looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst to support delivery of a large-scale Identity and Access Management uplift program within a government environment.

This role will focus on validating identity lifecycle workflows, access provisioning, governance integrations, and external identity solutions. You will operate across SIT, UAT, regression, and production verification phases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed Test Plans covering:
• System Integration Testing (SIT)
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Regression Testing
• Performance & Non-Functional inputs
• Analyse functional and non-functional requirements to:
• Define test conditions
• Develop traceable test cases
• Identify test data requirements
• Execute test cases in:
• Non-production
• Mirrored Production
• Production environments
• Record outcomes in Azure DevOps
• Log and manage defects through structured triage processes
• Produce Test Completion & Summary Reports
• Support UAT coordination and mentor SMEs during testing
• Ensure alignment with ISTQB TBOK and Department Test Data Standards
• Assist with regression pack handover to BAU teams

Essential Experience

• 5+ years enterprise test experience
• Strong SIT and UAT coordination capability
• Experience testing IAM systems or access governance workflows
• Experience testing identity lifecycle (Joiner/Mover/Leaver)
• Strong API testing experience (Postman or similar)
• Experience working in highly regulated or Government environments
• Demonstrated experience producing Test Completion Reports
• Strong defect triage and stakeholder communication skills

Highly Desirable

• Experience testing:
• Microsoft Entra / Azure AD
• Ping Federate / PingOne
• MFA implementations
• External citizen identity onboarding
• Experience in cyber security programs
• Experience with hybrid cloud identity environments

Certifications

• ISTQB Foundation (Mandatory)
• ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst (Desirable)

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Comfortable working within governance-heavy environments
• Ability to operate independently and within structured test teams
