KJR is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Mobile QA Analyst to join a Digital Solutions team supporting a large-scale, customer-facing mobile application.
This is a high-impact role where you’ll work in an agile environment to ensure quality, performance, and continuous improvement of a critical mobile platform used daily at scale.
Commencement Date & Duration: 04 May 2026 – 03 May 2027
Work Type: Hybrid with a minimum of 3 days at the office
Capacity & technical Skills:
You will have capability and technical skills for testing native iOS and Android applications, executing formal test cases, and working alongside the product owner and vendor to ensure issues are resolved effectively and efficiently.
You will have:
• Proven experience as a QA Analyst or Software Tester.
• Demonstrated experience testing native mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Experience with mobile device testing tools, emulators and simulators.
• Experience with test automation frameworks specifically for mobile-native environments.
• Strong experience executing structured test cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Experience working with third-party vendors or development partners to validate defect fixes.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and release management processes.
• Proficiency using defect tracking and test management tools.
• Understanding of accessibility guidelines/standards, including experience using native device accessibility tools (e.g. colours, fonts, screen reader).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written documentation skills, including clear defect reporting.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills
Experience
This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality releases through structured testing, coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and close collaboration with our external app vendor to validate bug fixes, maintenance and new features improvements.
You will have experience to:
1. Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for native mobile applications (iOS and Android)
2. Conduct functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across mobile platforms.
3. Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including:
a. Preparing UAT test scripts
b. Supporting business stakeholders during UAT cycles
c. Tracking and reporting UAT outcomes
4. Identify, document, and prioritise defects with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
5. Work closely with the external app vendor to:
a. Log and triage defects
b. Validate bug fixes
c. Confirm resolution prior to release
6. Perform regression testing on resolved defects to ensure no unintended impacts.
7. Support release validation and production smoke testing.
8. Maintain clear documentation of test results, defect status, and release readiness.
9. Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards.
