KJR is seeking an experienced tester to support our client’s Amazon Connect phone system rollout, with CITEC delivering the solution, including call flows and integrations.

 

Key Details:

Period: January 2026 to August 2026

Type of contract: Casual/Contractor


Duties & Responsibilities:

Functional Testing

Validate call flows built by CITEC, including IVR menus, routing, and agent handling.

Conduct end-to-end testing to ensure all components work seamlessly together.

Perform regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.

Voice Quality

Conduct voice quality testing to assess call clarity, latency, etc.

Network Testing

Perform network load testing to simulate peak call volumes and ensure the network can handle the load.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Collaborate with the testing manager to plan and execute UAT with end users.

Capture user feedback and work with CITEC to address usability issues.

Performance and Scalability Testing (Optional)

Conduct performance testing to ensure the system can handle varying call volumes as the rollout scales up and down.

Provide detailed performance metrics and recommendations for optimisation.

Penetration Testing (Optional)

Conduct penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in the system.

Provide a detailed report of findings and collaborate with CITEC to address identified issues.

Monitoring and Reporting During Go-Live

Provide real-time monitoring and support during each phase of the go-live.

Deliver detailed reports after each phase, including test results, defects, and recommendations for the next stage.

Collaboration with In-House Team and CITEC

Work closely with the testing manager to execute test scenarios and prioritise defect resolution.

Collaborate with CITEC to access test environments, data, and technical resources.

 

Key Deliverables:

Test Case Preparation:

Develop comprehensive test cases based on the project requirements and user stories.

Test Execution:

Functional, performance, and voice quality testing completed for each phase of the rollout.

Penetration testing (if included) completed with detailed reports.

Defect Management:

Comprehensive defect logs with prioritisation and resolution tracking.

Reports:

Regular progress reports to the testing manager.

Final summary report of testing outcomes, including recommendations for go-live readiness.
