Site Leadership Opportunities

(Multiple leadership levels available | On-site accommodation available for the right candidate)

As the leading provider of pet care services across Australia, Kip Happy Stays sets the benchmark for excellence, ensuring every pet receives the ultimate in care and enrichment during their stay.

We’re looking for passionate and capable leaders to join our team at Pacific Pet Resort. Whether you’re an experienced Site Manager, a developing Assistant Manager, or an emerging Team Lead ready to take the next step, we’d love to hear from you.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a hands-on role in a fast-paced, animal-loving environment - blending operational excellence, customer service, and team leadership. Extensive support from our Head Office team is provided. For the right candidate, on-site accommodation may be available as part of the package.

Successful candidates must be able to work a full time roster with shifts scheduled between the hours of 7am to 6pm Monday to Sunday - some weekend availability is required; rosters can be discussed in more detail with shortlisted candidates. You must also be able to work our peak periods of school holidays, Christmas and Easter.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your experience and the level of role, responsibilities may include:

  • Leading, motivating, and developing a team to deliver exceptional pet care and customer service.
  • Managing day-to-day site operations, including rostering, staff coordination, facility upkeep, and compliance.
  • Supporting or overseeing customer bookings, enquiries, and service delivery.
  • Driving site performance, including quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and enriching environment for all pets in our care.
  • Engaging with customers and community through social media and local initiatives.
  • Monitoring and reporting on maintenance, inventory, and operational needs.
  • Handling pet health concerns with care, attention, and clear communication with owners.

About You

We’re looking for people who are:

  • Passionate about animals and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
  • Experienced in leading teams - whether in pet care, retail, hospitality, or other service-based industries.
  • Previous paid animal care experience is highly regarded but not essential.
  • Hands-on, organised, and proactive, with the ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skilled communicators with a strong sense of accountability and attention to detail.
  • Confident with computer systems and able to pick up new software quickly.
  • Flexible and reliable, with availability across our operating hours (7am–6pm, Monday–Sunday) and during busy holiday periods including Christmas and Easter.

Why Kip?

  • Did someone say pets?
  • Career growth opportunities across our national network - we love promoting from within.
  • Comprehensive training and development to help you grow your leadership skills.
  • Extensive support from our Head Office team.
  • Up to 50% off our shop items, boarding, and daycare services.
  • Performance-based incentives and bonus opportunities for our leaders.
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential support.
  • A fun, supportive, and pet-loving team culture with a well-established national brand.
  • Employee Referral Program – earn up to $3,000 when you refer someone amazing!

How to Apply

If you’re a passionate people leader - whether your experience is in animal care or another customer-focused industry, we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit your cover letter and resume outlining your experience and the level of leadership role you’re interested in.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a brief one-way video interview as the first step of our recruitment process.
