Position: Weekend Receptionist (Pet Boarding)

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage bookings and collect key pet information and payments
  • Build rapport and trust with clients through a high level of customer service and communication
  • Process of bookings, check- ins and check- out of pets
  • Provide administration support for leadership team to ensure we are operating in a safe, effective, and professional manner
  • Promptly provide pet health updates to owners in a clear, concise, and effective way in line with our processes

Experience/Skills:

  • Previous paid animal husbandry experience is highly regarded but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills and experience in customer service
  • Passion for problem solving and high attention to detail
  • A can-do attitude, initiative to get extra work done
  • Quick learner
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a cool head under pressure
  • Having great time management, and commitment to deliver quality in work output
  • Competent with computer systems with advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Key requirements:

  • Must have current drivers licence & vehicle access
  • Must be available over holidays & Christmas period
