Kip Bayswater

Site Manager (Dog Daycare)

At Kip Happy Stays, we’re passionate about providing the very best care for pets. As Australia’s leading pet care provider, we set the benchmark for safe, enriching, and fun experiences for every dog in our care.

We’re currently looking for a Site Manager to lead our Kip Bayswater team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who loves dogs, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys building strong teams and great customer experiences.

As Site Manager, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running and performance of the daycare, balancing operational management with hands-on involvement in pet care. You’ll lead a dedicated team, maintain our high standards of safety and enrichment, and help create a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

This role suits someone who enjoys leading from the front, motivating teams, and taking ownership of site performance.

The successful candidate will be available to work between 6:30am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday, with a mix of half and full days across a 38-hour work week. Rosters can be discussed with shortlisted candidates to ensure the best fit for both you and the site.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team delivering exceptional pet care
  • Be actively involved in daily daycare operations — this is a hands-on role
  • Manage rostering, staffing coordination, and team performance
  • Ensure high standards of animal welfare, safety, and facility presentation
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and manage client bookings
  • Monitor and support the site’s performance and occupancy targets
  • Manage incidents or pet health concerns with professionalism and care
  • Maintain compliance, safety procedures, and operational processes
  • Support social media content that showcases the Kip daycare experience

Experience & Skills:

  • Passionate about dogs and animal welfare
  • A confident and supportive team leader
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable making decisions and solving problems quickly
  • Able to stay calm and focused in a busy environment
  • Tech-confident and able to learn new systems quickly

Highly regarded but not essential:

  • Experience in animal care, dog daycare, kennels, or similar environments
  • Experience leading a team or managing site operations

Benefits & Perks:

  • Did someone say pets?!
  • Career progression opportunities within a growing national company
  • Extensive training and development to build leadership skills
  • Up to 50% staff discount on retail products and pet services
  • Performance-based incentives available for Site Leaders
  • Structured onboarding to set you up for success
  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for confidential wellbeing support
  • Be part of a passionate team within a trusted and well-known brand
