Gardens and Grounds Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Gardens and Grounds Specialist to join our Facilities team at our Pimpama Campus.
This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining our campus grounds, sports fields, and gardens to the highest standard, creating a safe, presentable, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and community.
This is a Full Time, Monday to Friday position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and renovating sports fields, including line marking, turf care, and chemical/fertiliser application.
- Keeping all campus gardens, lawns, and landscaped areas neat and well-presented.
- Supporting school events with bump-in and bump-out assistance.
- Identifying and responding to hazards promptly and safely.
- Operating and maintaining grounds equipment and machinery.
- Working within a close-knit facilities team that takes pride in the campus environment.
Key Skills:
- Experience in grounds, turf, or horticulture maintenance.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) or willing to obtain.
- Physically fit, self-motivated, and reliable
- A team player who takes pride in their work.

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2600 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.
Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 2000 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.
King’s LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) currently has over 1000 students on-site, offering places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
