1st or 2nd year Carpentry Apprentice

Get your career in Carpentry started with this fabulous opportunity for a 1st year or 2nd year apprentice.

The role is with an establish business in Wodonga mostly doing new home builds (framework, roofing etc) and involves working in a close-knit team environment where good communication and can-do attitude is essential.

The successful candidate will be trained up in all aspects of Carpentry including:

• Reading and interpreting plans and drawings.
• Constructing wall frames and framing roofs.
• Installing windows and doors.
• Digging, moving materials and using hand tools.
• Collaborating with various other trades

This is a fantastic career-start opportunity to become trade qualified. As a Carpentry Apprentice, you will receive both on and off the job training working towards CPC30220 Certificate III Carpentry which will see you employed directly by Kestrel for up to four years.

About You

You must have:

• Driver's licence
• Own car
• White Card

And the following would be ideal:

• Previous carpentry work experience
• Cert II in carpentry
• Based in Wodonga
