Kestrel Recruitment in partnership with iTFE are offering a fantastic career opportunity for those who are seeking employment within the health and community care sector.

This 3 week jump start program is designed to provide you with essential skills and knowledge to launch your career with confidence.

Whats involved?

  • 3 week program delivered 3 days per week (Monday - Wednesday)
  • 4 Units of competency delivered across three main healthcare industries including Early Childhood and education, Individual Support (aging and disability) and Community Services
  • Opportunity for work experience within local industries to increase employ-ability
  • Ongoing support from Kestrel and iTFE throughout the program

Units of Competency include;

  • HLTWHS002 Follow Safe Work Practices for Direct Client Care
  • CHCDIV001 Work with Diverse People
  • CHCCOM005 Communicate and Work in Health or Community Services
  • HLTFSE001 Follow Basic Food Safety Practices

Key Dates

  • October 15th, 10am - 12pm: Information session delivered by Kestrel
  • October 21st, 9:15 - 2.45pm: Training commences

Delivery Dates

  • Monday 21st Oct to Wednesday 23 Oct
  • Monday 28th Oct to Wednesday 30 Oct
  • Monday 4 Nov to Wednesday 6 Nov

Duration

  • Approximately 45 Hours

Am I eligible?

  • Are you a NSW Resident?
  • Willing to obtain a NSW Working With Children's Check?
  • Willing to obtain a Police Check?
  • Have you been immunized against the Flu and COVID 19?

This course is delivered and assessed by iiTFE (RTO provider No: 6372) . On successful completion of all course requirements, including assessment and attendance , students will be issued with a statement of attainment by iTFE.
