About the role

As a Welding Trade Assistant, you will work a Fulltime, Monday to Friday roster based in Shepparton, and join an experienced and dedicated team that pride themselves on safety and efficiency.

You will work as part of a well-respected, industry-leading, family business and be provided with ongoing support and training to help promote internal development and progression. In this role you will have access to state-of-the-art equipment and machinery, be privy to a wealth of industry experience in our existing team of qualified tradespeople and be exposed to a range of techniques.

What you will be doing

  • Mig and Tig welding
  • Angle grinding
  • Reading and interpreting diagrams and plans
  • Using tools and equipment
  • Collaborate with team to meet deadlines
  • Uphold reporting of equipment breakdowns or delays
  • Participate in regular training and development to enhance your knowledge and skills
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Completing other tasks as directed


What we are looking for

  • Driver’s License (preferred)
  • White Card (must have)
  • Forklift License (advantageous)
  • Welding Experience
  • Willingness to learn and take direction
  • Thorough, accurate and meticulous in your work
