Container Forklift Operator

About you:

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Forklift Operator with extensive Container Fork experience (current and valid High Risk Forklift Operator’s certification). 

We hope you have:

• Experience in container fork operations within a high volume fast-paced environment
• Any exposure in handling & stacking Shipping or Rail containers would be highly preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• A positive attitude and approachable manner
• Have a proactive approach to continuous improvement

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Heavy Container Forklift Operator to join our team on a permanent basis. 

Some of what you will be doing:

• Working closely with the warehouse manager and schedulers to ensure trucks are loaded and unloaded within acceptable timeframes.
• Safely drive and operate equipment adhering to all safety requirements, ensuring your safety and the safety of others is always front of mind
• Efficiently and effectively allocate containers to specific locations and load/unload accordingly using the Warehouse Management System
• Ensure effective and timely communication to staff for smooth movement and safe operations
