About the Role:

We’re currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead our modern Canberra facility located in Hume. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take charge of a well-established branch and make an immediate impact. With a high-performing sales and operations team already in place, the right leader will be able to harness this potential and elevate performance even further.

This is a strategic and hands-on role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment and leads by example.

Some of what you will be doing:

• Maintain and grow the profit position of the branch through effective management of the sales function and operational expenses
• Promote, advocate and deliver the highest level of customer service across all areas of the business
• Support, guide and lead your team focusing on development and collaboration to achieve success
• Ensure Kent’s safety standards are met on site and your most important asset, your people, advocate safety as a priority

About you:

The success of this team will be determined by the expertise and leadership of an experienced Branch Manager who has run a similar operation and has demonstrated success. We don’t want to maintain our position, we want someone to come in and continue to grow it. So, looking outside the box, trying new things, and finding efficiencies are the traits we are looking for.

• Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of what makes a business profitable and sustainable.
• Operational expertise — including the ability to manage labour, inventory, warehousing, purchasing, and equipment with foresight and efficiency.
• A people-first mindset — you understand the value of investing in team development and morale.
• A solid grasp of operational efficiency, process improvement, and cost control.
• A genuine passion for sales and the skills to motivate and lead your team to achieve success.
