Kent is hiring a Branch Manager to lead our high-performing Sydney operation and drive its next phase of growth.

We are looking for someone ready to build, optimise, lead teams, and outperform.

The Role

Reporting to the onsite Regional General Manager, you will take full operational and commercial responsibility for the Sydney Branch.

You will lead through:

  • Maintaining and growing the profit position of the region through effective management of sales performance and operational expenses
  • Promoting and advocating the highest level of customer service across all areas of the business
  • Direct leadership of an Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager
  • Full P&L accountability
  • Operational cost control and margin improvement
  • Labour optimisation and fleet efficiency
  • Warehouse performance and asset utilisation
  • Ensuring Kent’s safety standards are upheld, with safety prioritised across all teams
  • Strategic growth planning across NSW
  • Regional travel across NSW/ACT when required

This is a visible leadership role with genuine influence across a nationally recognised business.

Who We Are Targeting

We are seeking experienced operational leaders who have:

  • Successfully managed a branch, depot, operational site, or service-based business in a fast-paced environment
  • Owned or significantly influenced P&L outcomes
  • Led large operational teams across transport, warehouse, scheduling, logistics, or field operations
  • Driven measurable improvements in margin, productivity, customer service, or operational efficiency
  • Operated successfully in high-pressure, high-volume environments

Experience within removals, relocations, transport, logistics, warehousing, supply chain, or service operations will be highly regarded.

If you come from outside the removals industry, you’ll bring strong operational leadership capability, commercial acumen, and the ability to lead teams through complexity and change.

Most importantly, you know how to build high-performing teams and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
