About the Role

Kent Removals & Storage is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Removalist Truck Driver to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.

In this role, you will safely transport, load and unload household and commercial goods while delivering a high standard of customer service. Working alongside a professional removals crew, you will assist with packing, loading, transportation and delivery activities, ensuring customer belongings are handled with care and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate MR, HR, HC or MC vehicles in accordance with Australian road transport regulations.
• Load, secure, transport and unload household and commercial goods.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and maintain vehicle presentation.
• Complete delivery paperwork and transport documentation accurately.
• Follow workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
• Work collaboratively with offsiders, drivers and operational staff.
• Ensure the safe handling and protection of customer belongings.

Essential Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

• A current Australian MR, HR, HC or MC Driver Licence.
• A minimum of one (1) year of relevant truck driving experience.
• Experience operating heavy vehicles in a transport, logistics, removals or related environment.
• Demonstrated ability to safely load, secure and transport goods.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding manual handling tasks.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.

Desirable

• Previous experience in the removals industry.
• Forklift Licence.
• Experience working directly with customers in a service-based environment.
