The Opportunity

As an Accounting Manager, you will be a key player in enabling Kelly+Partners’ next phase of growth. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and will be exposed to a variety of clients and the opportunity to learn in a public practice environment.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prepare tax returns for individuals and business entities. 
  • Review and respond to notices from various tax authorities. 
  • Analize and process tax information provided by clients. 
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.  
  • Oversee the preparation of federal, state, and local tax documents, including tax returns, state forms and municipal filings, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.  

About You

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.  
  • 2+ years of experience in tax preparation.  
  • Experience in estate, trust or other tax specialties a plus 
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.  
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.  
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective clients and team interaction.  
  • Well-organized with strong time management skills. 
  • Solid technical tax knowledge. 
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
