We are a fully cloud‑based professional services firm delivering accounting, tax, wealth, and advisory services, and we are seeking a hands‑on IT Operations Specialist to support our technology environment while working closely with Partners and office leaders.
The Role
We are looking for a hands‑on IT Specialist to support day‑to‑day IT operations across our U.S. offices. This is a practical, execution‑focused role with strong exposure to senior stakeholders, including Partners, and collaboration with our Australian IT team.
This role also supports the firm’s AI and automation initiatives by ensuring systems, access, security, and tools are properly configured and supported.
What You’ll Do
- Provide hands‑on IT support to Partners, managers, and staff across U.S. offices
- Build strong working relationships with Partners to understand technology needs and ensure reliable support
- Administer and support Microsoft 365, including user provisioning, licensing, security, and collaboration tools
- Manage endpoints (Windows laptops/desktops), onboarding/offboarding, and equipment setup
- Support and administer Rightworks, including user access, permissions, and integrations
- Coordinate with third‑party IT vendors and managed service providers
- Support IT aspects of new office onboarding and integrations
- Assist with cybersecurity best practices, including MFA, endpoint protection, and access controls
- Support practice management, document management, and collaboration platforms
- Manage IT requests using a ticket‑based support model
- Coordinate with the Australian head office IT team to ensure alignment on platforms and standards
- Support AI and automation initiatives, including:
- User access and permissions for AI tools (e.g., Copilot, AI research tools, automation platforms)
- Ensuring security, licensing, and compliance requirements are met
- Assisting with rollout, configuration, and user support for AI‑enabled tools
- Maintain IT documentation, procedures, and operational records
Who You Are
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on IT experience, preferably in professional services or a multi‑office environment
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365, Windows OS, user access, and license administration
- Rightworks experience (user management, permissions, integrations) required or strongly preferred
- Comfortable supporting Partners and senior stakeholders
- Familiar with cloud‑based SaaS environments
- Experience working with external IT vendors / MSPs
- Good understanding of AI-enabled workplace tools and how they are deployed and supported
- Solid grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals
- Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset
- Organized, reliable, and execution‑focused
Experience with accounting platforms (QuickBooks, Xero, Thomson Reuters, CCH) is a plus.
Location & Travel
Based in the Woodland Hills / Malibu area of Los Angeles, CA, with occasional domestic travel to U.S. offices.
