The Opportunity

As a Graduate Accountant, this is where your career begins, and you'll be well supported every step of the way. Guided by the Partner and the wider team around you, you'll have the training, mentoring and hands-on experience to build strong foundations and grow into a confident accountant at a pace that works for you.

Position Responsibilities

  • Work alongside Partners and team members to help complete client work in a timely manner
  • Assist in preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Support the team with BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Help prepare annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
  • Be coached directly by an experienced Partner as you build your technical knowledge
  • Assist in liaising with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Contribute to providing an exceptional service to our clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events

About You

  • Recently completed, or in the final stages of, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Keen to begin your Chartered Accountant qualification
  • Any exposure to an accounting practice is a bonus, though not essential
  • Some familiarity with accounting software such as APS, MYOB, Xero or QuickBooks is a plus
  • A confident communicator, both written and verbal
  • Naturally organised with a great eye for detail
  • Warm, customer-focused and positive in your approach
  • Genuinely care about doing great work for your clients
  • Proactive, self-motivated and always happy to pitch in
