Your Role 

This is a senior accounting role for someone ready to take ownership of client work and contribute to the success of the team. You’ll manage client relationships and provide advisory support while helping to maintain high standards across the practice. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and SMSFs 
  • Overseeing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG compliance 
  • Supporting and guiding junior accountants 
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services alongside senior team members 
  • Building strong client relationships and delivering exceptional service 

What You Bring 

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice 
  • Chartered Accountant qualification (or near completion) 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field 
  • Strong technical skills and a proactive approach to client service 
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills 
  • Familiarity with practice management platforms like MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks – or a strong aptitude for learning new systems
