Your Role at a Glance

This role is ideal for a Graduate or Junior Accountant looking to start or continue their career in public practice.

You’ll work closely with a supportive team, gaining practical experience while developing your technical skills in a structured and encouraging environment.

Your Day-to-Day

With guidance from senior team members, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns
  • Supporting BAS, IAS, PAYG, and other compliance work
  • Working across a variety of clients and industries
  • Liaising with the ATO and other statutory bodies as required
  • Learning and using accounting and practice management systems
  • Participating in internal training, monthly tax updates, and team activities
  • Contributing to a positive, collaborative team culture

What You Bring

You’re an early‑career accounting professional who is motivated, reliable, and keen to learn. You bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 0–2 years’ experience in accounting or professional services 
  • An interest in commencing or continuing CA studies
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Clear communication skills and a team-focused mindset
  • A genuine interest in building a long-term career in accounting

Experience with MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems is beneficial but not essential - training will be provided.
