Kelly+Partners Brookvale is seeking an experienced Tax Manager (Business Services), or a Senior Accountant seeking a clear pathway into a managerial role.

You’ll be supported to develop your leadership capability and progressively take on responsibility for building and leading a team within a growing practice.

The Opportunity

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Work with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
  • Assist with staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Lead and review the preparation of FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of clients and delivering high‑quality advice
  • Develop and manage client relationships, providing expert advisory service and solutions to add long-term value
  • Build, lead and develop a team, including mentoring and setting direction
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities and drive growth
  • Work closely with the bookkeeping team to drive further value for clients

 Who this role is for:

  • 5+ years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
  • Expertise in accounting software like Xero, Xero Practice Manager, MYOB and Class
  • Strong Office365 skills with the ability to pickup new software packages quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive, adaptable and comfortable taking ownership
  • Interested in leadership and motivated by building and mentoring a team
  • Looking for a long‑term opportunity with meaningful progression
