The Opportunity

We are on the lookout for a friendly and reliable Administration Assistant / Receptionist to join us on a 12-month maternity leave contract, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. You'll be at the heart of the team, keeping the office running smoothly and making sure every client feels looked after from the moment they walk through the door.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and welcome clients and visitors with a warm, friendly manner
  • Manage daily mail
  • Monitor the office email and calendar
  • Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
  • Liaise with the ATO and other government bodies
  • Lodgement of tax returns
  • Help prepare client correspondence and documentation
  • Maintain client records and keep data accurate and up to date
  • Manage debtors
  • Support the accounting team and Administration Manager with a variety of tasks

About You

You are a warm, dependable, and love being part of a team. You take pride in getting things right, you're happy to roll up your sleeves and learn, and you enjoy being the kind of person clients and colleagues know they can rely on. 

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an admin, reception or similar position
  • Warm, clear communication and a genuine way with people
  • Strong organisation and a good eye for detail
  • Comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to juggle a few things at once and keep your priorities straight
  • A positive outlook and an appetite to keep learning
