The Opportunity
Kelly Partners is seeking a driven and execution-focused Senior People and Compliance Advisor to join our dynamic People Team within a fast-paced, ASX-listed accounting and advisory firm. This is a hands-on role for a commercially minded HR professional who thrives in a high-performance environment, with a strong focus on implementing initiatives, resolving people matters quickly and effectively, and ensuring end-to-end compliance with employment legislation and regulatory obligations.
Reporting to the Head of People, this role will play a key part in delivering outcomes across the employee lifecycle, embedding compliance, and supporting a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
About You
Essential:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
- Extensive HR generalist experience in a corporate or professional services environment, ideally within a listed or regulated entity.
- Demonstrated success in executing HR and compliance activities at pace, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES, Modern Awards, and other key workplace legislation.
- Ability to manage high-volume HR tasks while supporting more complex compliance or ER matters.
- Resilient, action-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organisation.
- Proficiency in HR software, and Microsoft Office
Desirable:
- Experience in a listed company or within an accounting/advisory firm environment.
- Understanding of regulatory obligations related to ASX governance, CA ANZ/CPA codes, or audit/risk compliance.
