The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for a final year law student or recent law graduate to kick-start their legal career under the mentorship of experienced professionals. This role offers meaningful exposure to in‑house legal work in a professional services environment, with exposure to a wide range of commercial matters in Australia, USA and other jurisdictions. In addition to supporting the legal function, you will be working closely with multi-disciplinary stakeholders across the business, providing you with an understanding of the decision‑making process in the broader business.
Working part time (up to 3 days per week), your main duties will be to provide legal and compliance support to the business, with office coordination and broader administration support as required. You will gain hands-on experience in learning and working in different legal and compliance software.

Key Responsibilities
Legal support (primary focus)
- Basic document review and drafting
- Management of document workflows and contract lifecycle
- Corporate governance support (ASIC lodgement support, entity registers)
- Ad hoc legal research
- Support improvement of legal workflows and processes
Office & business support (secondary focus)
- Provide general office and administrative support as required
- Assist with data entry and internal system updates
- Support ad‑hoc tasks as business priorities shift
What You Bring
- In your final year or a recent graduate of an Australian Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to articulate and communicate issues clearly
- Keen interest in corporate and commercial law and willingness to learn legal operations
- Comfortable working across different teams and responsibilities
- Ability to manage competing deadlines
- Adaptability to learn and work across different software stacks
- Available to work part‑time (approximately 3 days per week – flexible on days)
Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment will be highly regarded but not essential.
