Role Overview

Joining Kelly+Partners North Sydney as an Intermediate Accountant means becoming part of a team that genuinely invests in your development. With ongoing training, direct Partner mentorship, and a collaborative working environment, you’ll be trusted with meaningful work and supported to take greater ownership as your experience grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
  • Take lead in the preparation Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
  • Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
  • Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
  • Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with an aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
  • Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
  • Offer support and training to junior team members

What You Bring

  • 2+ years’ full-time experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
  • CA qualified or currently undertaking CA studies
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • Familiarity with MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems (or the ability to learn quickly)
  • Strong communication, organisational, and time‑management skills
  • A client‑first mindset and commitment to delivering quality outcomes
  • A genuine desire to grow and contribute within a high‑performing team
