Position Responsibilities

• Financial reporting & analysis – Prepare and review monthly management reports, providing insights to help clients make informed business decisions.
• Cash flow & budgeting support – Assist clients in managing cash flow, forecasting, and setting budgets to ensure sustainable growth.
• Advisory & client collaboration – Work closely with e-commerce and retail business owners to provide financial guidance beyond tax compliance.
• Tech-driven accounting & automation – Leverage cloud-based accounting tools (Xero, inventory management software, and automation tools) to optimize processes.
• Compliance & tax obligations – Ensure accurate preparation and lodgment of tax returns, BAS, and other regulatory filings.
• Event participation & industry engagement – Attend and contribute to industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities, including interstate and international travel.

About You

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
• Chartered Accountant qualification in progress, or plans to pursue in the near future
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
• Expertise using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB and Xero
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
