Position Responsibilities
- Financial reporting & analysis – Prepare and review monthly management reports, providing insights to help clients make informed business decisions.
- Cash flow & budgeting support – Assist clients in managing cash flow, forecasting, and setting budgets to ensure sustainable growth.
- Advisory & client collaboration – Work closely with e-commerce and retail business owners to provide financial guidance beyond tax compliance.
- Tech-driven accounting & automation – Leverage cloud-based accounting tools (Xero, inventory management software, and automation tools) to optimize processes.
- Compliance & tax obligations – Ensure accurate preparation and lodgment of tax returns, BAS, and other regulatory filings.
- Event participation & industry engagement – Attend and contribute to industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities, including interstate and international travel.
About You
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice
- Chartered Accountant qualification in progress, or plans to pursue in the near future
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
- Expertise using accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB and Xero
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
