  • ASX-listed Top 20 Accounting Firm, growing 30% year-on-year
  • Client events, social days and a team that genuinely back each other
  • No accounting experience needed, just a great attitude and a real interest in business

We're after someone who loves people, loves business, and wants a role where no two days look the same. You don't need an accounting degree or a single tax return under your belt. Our technical team handles the numbers. You will be the familiar voice clients come to rely on, keeping work moving, relationships strong and everything ticking along behind the scenes.

Who we are

Our mission is to help our people, private business owners and the communities we work in, Be Better Off. Our Northern Beaches office works across medical, construction, hospitality, property and e-commerce, so the clients are varied and the conversations are genuinely interesting. We're a supportive team that takes training seriously, and we'll back you to build a long-term career here.

As part of a global business, you will also have the opportunity to connect with colleagues across Australia and internationally. For top performers, this can include national and international travel opportunities, giving you exposure to different teams, offices and ways of thinking.

The Northern Beaches office

There's always something on here. Team events and social catch-ups run throughout the year, plus the client events we host, which are a highlight on the calendar. If you're the kind of person who lights up talking about how a business works and what makes it tick, this is the role for you.

What you'll be doing

You'll be the connection point between our clients and team, helping deliver an exceptional experience while keeping everything organised behind the scenes.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact
  • Responding to enquiries and keeping clients informed
  • Coordinating workflows, deadlines and follow-ups
  • Preparing client documents and managing information requests
  • Maintaining accurate records and keeping systems up to date
  • Working closely with our local and offshore teams to keep work moving
  • Supporting client events, team initiatives and office activities
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and client experiences

What you'll learn

This is a role where you will learn quickly, build meaningful relationships and gain genuine insight into how successful businesses operate.

You will develop:

  • A strong understanding of how businesses operate
  • Commercial communication and relationship management skills
  • Confidence working directly with business owners
  • Exposure to accounting, advisory and professional services
  • Organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • A solid foundation for a long-term career in business

What we're looking for

We're less concerned about your background and more interested in your attitude, curiosity and ability to connect with people.

You will bring:

  • Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with clients
  • Great organisation and attention to detail
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay on top of deadlines
  • A genuine interest in business and the people behind it
  • Confidence learning new technology and systems
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to pitch in wherever needed
  • Experience in customer service, administration, hospitality, retail, account management or another people-focused role
