As a Junior Accountant, you will build on the experience you've already gained, work closely with senior leaders, and receive ongoing mentorship to help you grow. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Completing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations
- Managing payroll tax and workers compensation reconciliations
- Liaising with statutory authorities and supporting clients
- Participating in team events and monthly tax updates
- Supporting a culture of growth, accountability, and shared success
About You
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a Chartered Accounting practice
- Completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Commenced your CA, or eager to get started — we'll back you the whole way
- Familiarity with practice management platforms like MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero, and QuickBooks — or a strong aptitude for picking up new systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic attitude
