The Opportunity:

KBR is seeking a National Fleet Manager to support fleet, logistics and supply chain activities within the Land Manoeuvre Systems Branch (LMSB). This role contributes to the effective coordination, analysis and reporting of fleet and logistics operations, ensuring asset availability, inventory control and delivery outcomes are achieved in line with Defence and organisational requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyse, develop, and implement logistics plans that impact the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to optimise material and asset flow.
  • Conduct distribution and network analysis, monitor inventory levels, and assess requirements to develop strategies that achieve target delivery timeframes and order fulfilment rates.
  • Coordinate logistics activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure operational alignment.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on logistics and fleet activities.
  • Provide activity updates and status reports to management.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support operational objectives.

About You:

The ideal candidate will bring the following qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline. In lieu of a formal degree, a minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in a related field is acceptable. Alternatively, four (4) years of specialised military experience in a relevant field may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Procurement and/or Supply Chain Management.
  • Previous experience working within a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) case/contract.
  • Strong computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, MS Project, and database maintenance and reporting.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills (essential).
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
