The Opportunity

KBR is seeking an experienced and detail oriented Configuration Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining configuration management processes that ensure the integrity, traceability, and control of project deliverables across their lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to complex and high-impact projects within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

 Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain configuration management plans, processes, and procedures
• Control and manage changes to project baselines, ensuring proper documentation and approval workflows
• Maintain accurate configuration records, including documentation, specifications, and version control
• Conduct configuration audits and reviews to ensure compliance with standards and requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on configuration processes
• Support risk management by identifying configuration-related issues and implementing corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, policies, and contractual requirements

 As the Ideal Candidate, You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in configuration management within a complex project or engineering environment
• Strong understanding of configuration management principles, tools, and best practices
• Experience with document control and change management systems
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, IT, project management, or a related field (desirable)
