KBR is seeking an experienced ILS Officer to support Land 400 Phase 3, providing ILS Support services to the Infantry Fighting Vehicle (IFV) Program. This role is central to ensuring the availability and sustainment of Items of Supply (IoS) across the IFV Support System, directly contributing to Defence capability and operational readiness.

Working as part of an integrated logistics team, the position supports the Supply Support Lead and Integrated Logistics Support Manager (ILSM) to establish and maintain robust, compliant supply support processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in inventory planning, procurement, and performance reporting within a complex Defence logistics environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake inventory planning and management activities to meet Capability Manager requirements across both routine operations and contingency activities.
  • Interpret and apply Defence logistics policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure all Supply Support activities are compliant and aligned with endorsed guidance.
  • Assist with codification activities to ensure accurate identification, recording, and management of Items of Supply.
  • Perform ongoing management and maintenance of assigned ERP Force Elements.
  • Generate, analyse, and maintain regular performance reports to support Supply Support outcomes and inform decision-making.
  • Document procurement and sparing decisions to ensure clear traceability between delivered outcomes and ILS objectives.
  • Conduct procurement activities that support a balanced, sustainable, and cost-effective inventory position across the supply network.
  • Assist with the management of supply network requirements, including cross-levelling of stock where appropriate.
  • Support the review of contractor deliverables and participate in Mandated System Reviews as required.
  • Undertake additional tasks as directed by the ILSM to support IFV sustainment outcomes.

As the Ideal Candidate, You Will Bring:

Mandatory Requirements

  • Demonstrated understanding of Defence inventory management and stocking policies, procedures, and frameworks, including:
  • DEFLOGMAN – Defence Logistics Policy Manual
  • ESCM – Electronic Supply Chain Manual
  • Previous experience supporting Supply Support activities within a Defence environment.
  • Ability to access and effectively operate within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Completion of, or willingness to complete, mandatory training, including:
  • ERP Supply Officer Course (as determined by the role profile)
  • CASG mandatory training requirements
  • Hold a current Baseline (or higher) security clearance.

Desirable Experience

  • Working knowledge of ROMAN and AIMS systems.
  • Additional logistics-related training, such as ERP Stocktaking.
