The Opportunity
KBR is seeking an experienced and motivated Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to support the Land Communications & Specialist Systems SPO (LCSS SPO) within the Communications Delivery Team (CDT). This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the delivery and sustainment of critical Defence communications capabilities that support the Australian Defence Force.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring capability systems are effectively introduced into service, sustained, and managed in accordance with Defence logistics and governance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) outcomes for critical Defence communications capabilities including the Battlefield Telecommunications Network (BTN), Tactical Communications Network (TCN), Battlefield Management System (BMS), and Deployable Information Environment (DIE).
- Support the successful introduction into service, transition to sustainment, and ongoing support of Land C4 Capability Systems through Logistic Support Analysis (LSA), training support, and in-service logistics activities.
- Manage logistics, fleet, inventory, and asset assurance activities using Defence logistics systems including MILIS, SAP, and ERP platforms.
- Provide support for Defence communications and deployable satellite systems, including cryptographic equipment handling and custodianship.
- Contribute to codification, cataloguing, stocktaking, and governance activities while ensuring compliance with Defence logistics and procurement frameworks.
- Build strong working relationships with Defence stakeholders across Army, Air Force,
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- 8+ years of equivalent industry or Defence experience.
- Proven experience within Defence logistics, acquisition, sustainment, or communications environments.
- Strong understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) principles and experience supporting complex Defence capability systems.
- Experience using logistics and inventory management systems such as MILIS, SAP, or ERP platforms.
- Experience handling cryptographic equipment and supporting communications or technical capability environments.
- Knowledge of Defence logistics and procurement frameworks including DEFLOGMAN, ESCM, CPRs, and DPPM.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary Defence and industry teams.
Minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and Australian citizenship required to be eligible.
