The Opportunity:
Configuration Managers play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, traceability and control of technical baselines across complex systems and platforms. Working within multidisciplinary teams, you will support configuration planning, change management and compliance across the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain Configuration Management plans, processes and procedures
- Manage configuration baselines, documentation and technical data
- Support change control boards and engineering change processes
- Ensure configuration compliance across systems, hardware and software
- Coordinate configuration audits and reporting
- Work closely with engineering, project management and logistics teams
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
You may come from an engineering, systems, or project support background and bring experience in configuration management within complex environments.
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
- Experience in Configuration Management within Defence, aerospace or complex engineering programs
- Familiarity with configuration standards such as EIA-649 or ISO configuration management frameworks
- Direct experience in change control boards and engineering change processes in a defence setting.
- Experience using configuration or product lifecycle management tools
- Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills
- The ability to work within structured governance environments
