The Opportunity
We are looking to grow our workforce and looking for expressions of interest for Project Support Officers in Canberra to provide critical governance and coordination support across a complex Defence program.
You will support delivery workstreams through project controls, reporting and coordination, ensuring alignment with schedule, cost, risk and governance expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Support program reporting cycles (weekly/fortnightly)
- Maintain registers (actions, decisions, dependencies)
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and artefacts
- Coordinate inputs across delivery streams
- Provide meeting support including minutes and actions
- Support senior leadership briefings
- Maintain project controls, dashboards and registers
- Support reporting across schedule, risk, cost and actions
- Ensure documentation is current, traceable and audit-ready
- Coordinate inputs from technical and commercial stakeholders
- Support delivery planning and decision-making artefacts
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Experience in project/program support or coordination and controls
- Strong organisational and documentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple inputs and deadlines
- Familiarity with governance processes (preferred)
- Minimum AGSVA NV1 Security Clearance and Australian citizenship required to be eligible.
