The Opportunity
KBR has an exciting opportunity for an Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitioner to join our team supporting C4I integration across Army vehicle platforms. Working within a collaborative Defence environment, you will help deliver critical logistics outcomes that enable the effective introduction and sustainment of modernised capability. This role is ideal for an ILS professional who thrives in complex technical environments and enjoys partnering with project teams, engineers, and Defence stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide ILS expertise to support platform integration and capability delivery.
- Conduct logistics analysis and contribute to acquisition and sustainment activities.
- Develop and maintain key ILS documentation, including CES, RPS, EMEIs, ILSPs, TIPs and related plans.
- Review contractor deliverables and support technical reviews.
- Lead supply support activities including inventory management, stocktake, provisioning, and data updates in SAP/MILIS.
- Support transition into sustainment, VIK preparation, and support system design.
- Apply Defence logistics policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate logistics activities across multiple projects and stakeholders, including Army units, JLUs, SPOs, OEMs and industry partners.
- Assist in risk identification, logistics problem‑solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support codification/cataloguing activities for non‑catalogued items
What you will bring
- Defence ILS experience or equivalent industry background.
- Strong supply chain, inventory management or through‑life support capability.
- Ability to interpret policy and provide clear, timely advice.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills across APS, ADF and industry teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to manage tasks, set priorities and contribute to team outcomes.
- Defence/CASG logistics experience (Acquisition or Sustainment).
- Experience with codification, cataloguing and asset assurance.
- Understanding of Defence logistics policy, FIC, ODCS and technical certification processes
Due to the nature of Defence work, applicants must be Australian citizens and hold an active NV1 security clearance.
