The Opportunity:
KBR is growing its Land Systems Division, and we are seeking an experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Officer to support the Armoured Fighter Vehicle (AFV) Branch. This role is ideal for logistics professionals who want to contribute directly to the sustainment and modernisation of Australia’s next-generation land combat capability.
You will play a key part in ensuring the availability, readiness, and ongoing supportability of AFV platforms and related systems, working across spares provisioning, maintenance planning, and technical documentation. This is a chance to join a collaborative environment delivering outcomes that directly impact Defence capability on the ground.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a NV1 Clearance or above should apply.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development, delivery, and sustainment of ILS products including:
- Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) records
- Spares provisioning data
- Maintenance task analysis
- Level of Repair Analysis (LORA)
- Technical publications and support documentation
- Assist in planning and managing logistics elements across the AFV product lifecycle, including introduction into service, through-life support, and disposal considerations.
- Support the preparation of inputs to Defence logistics systems such as MILIS
- Analyse usage patterns, maintenance practices, and operational requirements to inform sustainment strategies.
- Work with engineering, supply chain, and project teams to develop integrated support solutions that ensure availability and reduce through-life costs.
- Provide assurance against Defence and industry standards, ensuring ILS products are accurate, compliant, and fit-for-purpose.
- Act as a point of contact with Defence stakeholders, contributing to progress reviews, status reporting, and issue resolution.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Cert IV in Materiel Logistics (or equivalent) or relevant Defence/technical logistics experience.
- 3–5 years’ experience in an ILS or logistics engineering role, ideally in the Defence sector.
- Working knowledge of Defence logistics systems and tools (MILIS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to contribute to technical documentation and reports.
- AGSVA Security Clearance (minimum NV1 highly desirable
