What You’ll Do:

The Vendor Onboarding Assessor role requires close engagement with both internal and external stakeholders, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to ensure excellence in compliance, documentation, and client service.

  • Own and drive the end-to-end vendor assessment onboarding process, coordinating across internal teams and external Vendors to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant onboarding.
  • You will support the development of a training matrix, content and progress tracking across the Vendors
  • Serve as the primary contact during onboarding and change events including Vendor improvement plans, proactively managing communications, resolving issues, and ensuring Vendor are informed at every stage.
  • Partner with Operations and HSEQ to drive onboarding due diligence, periodic Vendor reviews, and ongoing updates in line with regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  • Deliver exceptional Vendor service by responding to enquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and timeliness, ensuring a positive Vendor experience throughout all interactions.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Legal and other teams to gather, validate, and manage Vendor and corporate documentation, ensuring alignment with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Analyse onboarding trends and pain points, contributing insights and recommendations to improve internal processes, system functionality, and reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure robust governance and control, maintaining accurate documentation and audit trails in compliance with internal policies and external standards 

Who You Are:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or equivalent preferred.
  • You’re a detail-oriented professional with at least 5 years background in vendor (subcontractor) systems within the Construction industry.
  • A collaborative mindset and a focus on quality, you thrive in fast-paced environments and bring a proactive approach to vendor engagement and process improvement.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and work effectively across stakeholders to resolve issues
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and governance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office tools and leveraging technology to drive efficiencies
  • High levels of initiative, curiosity, and critical thinking
  • A client-first mindset and proactive approach to service delivery
