We are looking for a passionate, driven and highly experienced Senior Estimator to manage the full tender process of medium to large scale projects and help us build our pipeline of work. You will independently manage a portfolio of tenders, submissions and BOQs, liaising with a range of stakeholders to produce attractive, high-quality submissions. As a senior in the team, you will lead by example and help to mentor our Estimators. We are a fast-paced and growing company, looking for passionate people that thrive on success and take pride in the quality of their work. What you will do:

• Prepare and coordinate high quality and accurate tender proposals and submissions
• Source and collate supplier and contractor quotes
• Develop relationships with clients, designers, architects, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Review, develop and maintain accurate and up to date cost information
• Attend tender interviews and take the lead as required
• Liaise with project teams and prepare project schedules
• Mentor and grow other Estimators to be the best they can be
• Preparation of construction budgets for handover to the construction team
• Help continually improve our estimating processes and systems

What you will bring:

• Genuine passion for the Construction industry and Estimating
• Tertiary qualified in Construction Management or a related discipline / equivalent experience
• Extensive experience in a Senior Estimator role working across multiple projects, ideally in Tier 1 & 2 builders
• Proven background on medium-to-large new construction projects
• High level of proficiency with CostX and Estimate One
• Well versed with preliminaries costing
• Sound understanding of construction systems and methodologies and the ability to demonstrate this to clients
• Strong experience in building and maintaining relationships built on trust and authenticity
• Able to juggle multiple priorities and context switch quickly
• Experience mentoring junior team members
• A strong team focus, and highly motivated
