We will be hiring an experienced and proven Health and Safety Advisor to contribute to our ongoing growth.

Snapshot of your new day-to-day

  • Work across multiple projects in one of our highly technical data centre projects.
  • Risk management including safety in design, project planning, high-risk activity workshops, SWMS, SOPs, and PPE
  • Provide expertise and advice on legislative and regulatory matters pertaining to H&S
  • Ensure conformance for H&S Plans per project team by way of observations and inspections
  • Partake in weekly H&S Walks and ensure raised issues are rectified by project teams
  • Drive development of Hammertech for maximum effectiveness and efficiency
  • Raise gaps and opportunities with the project team for improving training and competency
  • Ensure effective handling of incident management, investigations, and reporting

Foundation for your success in the role

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in WHS or equivalent (Degree or Diploma)
  • Extensive H&S experience in the construction industry - preferably across multiple large-scale projects
  • Highly skilled communicator and influencer
  • Energetic and disciplined approach to working within a large diverse team
  • Thorough understanding of relevant regulations and standards
  • Proven experience with conducting H&S assurance activities such as audits
  • Understanding of OFSC requirements
  • Advanced working knowledge of Hammertech (or equivalent system)
  • Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, attention to detail, influencing, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude
