Kapitol is an innovation-driven construction company based in Melbourne set to outpace and disrupt the industry. As one of Australia’s fastest-growing design and construct enterprises, we proudly combine a fresh approach with decades of expertise. The result is smarter, safer, more agile building solutions, a diverse portfolio including commercial, residential and education projects, and an award-winning workplace culture.

While this role is employed by Kapitol, this role will support content creation across a broader portfolio of construction projects and industry partnerships.

What You’ll Do

  • Capture high-quality video content across construction environments, showcasing projects, people, milestones and progress from ground level to completion.
  • Plan, film, edit and produce compelling video content that bring project stories to life across digital platforms.
  • Travel to active construction sites to document works in progress, events and key project moments in a safe and professional manner.
  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging content aligned with brand guidelines, tone and visual standards.
  • Operate video equipment confidently on site, including cameras, audio equipment and (ideally) drones to capture dynamic aerial footage.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, project teams and stakeholders to identify strong visual stories and content opportunities.
  • Maintain an organised video library, managing footage, versions and assets for ongoing and future use.

Who You Are

  • An experienced video production professional with a genuine passion for filming, editing and visual storytelling.
  • Comfortable working across multiple construction environments and able to adapt quickly to changing project contexts.
  • Highly skilled in video editing software, with a strong eye for detail, pacing and narrative.
  • Confident working independently on-site while collaborating closely with internal teams.
  • Ideally experienced in using drones for video content, with the ability to capture aerial footage safely and effectively.
  • A proactive, creative individual who enjoys being hands-on and takes pride in producing high-quality visual content that reflects technical capability, quality and project excellence.
