With a healthy pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced and talented Senior Planner to join our team. You will be responsible for P6 programme management on large-scale, new build data centre projects from 1st principles to project close-out. You will focus on analysis, programming, resourcing, costing and reviews for projects. We are a fast-paced and growing company, looking for passionate people that thrive on success and take pride in the quality of their work. Creative, innovative thinkers with strong learning mindsets make up our existing team – and we set out to bring aboard the same.

What you’ll do:

  • Produce and maintain quality, resource loaded construction programmes using MS Project and Primavera P6
  • Progress reporting against programmes, including performance and productivity
  • Coordinate day-to-day planning activities alongside the project team and client
  • Milestone projections, delay, and critical / float path analysis
  • Management of programme revision and updates as required
  • Oversee as built records
  • Change / delay management
  • Review technical drawings and documentation
  • Assist with costing, forecasting, and financial management for projects
  • Perform project planning reviews and health checks
  • Provide insights from quantitative analytics
  • Preempt issues on projects and collaborating with operations to prevent or mitigate
  • Lead by example with best practice approach to planning and controls

What you’ll bring:

  • A passion for the Construction industry and Project Controls
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent industry experience
  • 5 to 10+ years construction programming experience in a similar planning/scheduling focused role
  • Track record on a broad range of large commercial construction projects, including mechanical and electrical services and ideally across data centres
  • Strong working knowledge of construction and planning concepts, principles, techniques, and relevant processes
  • Well versed with Earned Value Management and resource planning
  • Adept in developing schedule risk report by using Mont Carlo Technique
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, related software, and systems
  • Proficiency with PRISM and Power BI advantageous
  • Excellent collaboration, consultation, negotiation, facilitation, interpersonal, communication and task management skills
