As our sustained growth continues, we are looking for an Undergraduate Accountant to join our team. Undergraduates have the ability work flexibly by way of 3+ days/week to fit in study commitments. The successful candidate will be well organised and analytical by nature, and passionate about pursuing a career in accounting. It’s a great chance to kick-start your career by learning from great mentors in a qualified, high-performing and supportive team that will provide you exposure to a diverse range of projects, processes and systems.

What you will do:

• Preparation and posting of the monthly project recharges
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Preparation of monthly BAS
• Preparation of monthly general ledger reconciliations
• Monthly bank reconciliation
• Monthly credit card reconciliation
• Preparation of weekly and ad hoc payment runs
• Jobpac system administration

What you will bring:

• Currently undertaking (or about to commence) a commerce, accounting or finance based degree
• Moderate-to-strong level of proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word
• Passion for accounting and numbers, with a keen learning mindset
• Able to work autonomously and within a team
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
• An eye for detail and planning ahead
• Strong collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills
• A ‘can do’ attitude
