With a healthy pipeline of work, we are looking for an experienced and talented P6 Planner to join our team. You will be responsible for P6 programme management on large-scale, new build data centre projects from 1st principles to project close-out. You will focus on analysis, programming, resourcing, costing and reviews for projects. We are a fast-paced and growing company, looking for passionate people that thrive on success and take pride in the quality of their work.

Snapshot of your new day-to-day

• Produce & maintain quality, resource loaded construction programmes for data centre projects using MS Project & Primavera P6
• Progress reporting against programmes including performance and productivity
• Manage day-to-day planning activities alongside the project team and client
• Milestone projections, delay and critical / float path analysis
• Management of programme revision and updates as required
• Management of as built records
• Change / delay management
• Reviewing technical drawings and documentation
• Assisting with costing, forecasting and financial management for projects
• Performing project planning reviews and health checks
• Reviewing quantitative analytics and provide insights
• Preempting issues on projects and collaborating with operations to prevent or mitigate
• Leading by example with best practice approach to planning and controls

What you’ll bring:

• A passion for the construction industry and project controls
• Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent industry experience
• 5 to 10+ years construction programming experience in a similar planning/scheduling focused role
• Proficiency with Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, related software and systems
• Exposure and proficiency with PRISM and Power BI advantageous
• Well versed in a broad range of large commercial construction projects, including mechanical and electrical services and ideally across data centres
• Strong working knowledge of construction and planning concepts, principles, techniques and relevant processes
• Experience with Earned Value Management and resource planning
• Experience developing schedule risk report by using Mont Carlo Technique
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
• Strong interpersonal skills including consultation, facilitation and negotiation skills
• Highly motivated and able to work well both within a team and autonomously
• Well-developed time management and organisational skills
